An antenna laid on the ground at the line and a chip stuck to the back of every bib. The chip is passive, with no battery, and the runner keeps it. There is nothing to collect at the finish, no deposit and no lost chips.

• The gun time, from the start signal, and the chip time, from the runner crossing the line.
• Leaderboards by distance, by age group and by team.

• On a backyard, every loop counted and timestamped, with no ticking by hand.

Running race pricing

• €478 for the weekend, timing mat and shipping both ways included.
• €1.28 per registered runner, for the chip stuck to the back of the bib. The price counts the runners actually registered, not your capacity.
• €384 for a second complete system, at an intermediate point or backing up the line. We recommend it on a backyard, where a missed read wrongly eliminates a runner.
• Ticketing stays at 1% + €1 per paid entry, nothing on free entries.
• The price does not depend on the distance. Several finish lines, several races, a very large field, custom split times or custom bibs are priced on quote.
• VAT not applicable (art. 293 B French tax code).

The rate covers France, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Germany. For an event elsewhere, we quote the shipping with you. Full details are on the race timing pricing page.

Booking for a running race

For running, trail and backyard, race timing is booked and paid for online, by card, from your dashboard, just like the hybrid pack. Book at least two months before the race. Below that, the request still goes through and we confirm within 48 hours if the equipment is available. Payment is due at the latest 14 days before the event.

For several finishes, a very large field or custom split times, write to us from the contact page with the date, the venue and the number of runners you expect. We reply with a quote.

The equipment reaches you before the weekend. On race day, the antenna goes down in a few minutes and the chips leave with the bibs at check-in. Everything ships back on Monday, and the results stay online.

Hybrid race, the ankle strap chip pack

For a HYROX® style race, athletes wear a transponder on an ankle strap, and a single professional high-precision battery-powered sensor is placed at the finish line. No per-station sensor, no cabling at every station. The sensor records each athlete's finish time. We calculate the net time, meaning the finish time minus the start of their wave, and display it automatically in the Leaderboard tab.

• €622 for the weekend, sensor and 40 chips included.
• €3.60 per extra chip beyond the 40. Count one chip per team on the course at the same time.
• €72 per chip lost, not returned or damaged, invoiced after the race.
• Booking and payment online, by card, from your space, no later than 14 days before the event.
• VAT not applicable (art. 293 B French tax code).

You have custody of the equipment during the event. The sensor remains the responsibility of Throwdown SAS, except in case of fault, negligence or improper use on your part.

Booking the hybrid pack

When you create the race, check Rent chip timing (sensor + velcro transponders). Later, open Competition mode from the details and choose Hybrid race with a sensor. You enter the number of chips and send the request. Depending on the date and location, it awaits our confirmation, within 48 hours. Once the pack is available, you pay for it online, no later than 14 days before the event.

• Before the event. The sensor and the chips are delivered to you. Shipping there and back is not at your expense.
• Race day. Simple setup, one sensor at the finish, velcro chips handed to teams at check-in. You enter the sensor's identifier in the Sensor ID field of the race details.
• After the event. You return the complete equipment in good condition within five business days after the last day.

The shipping and return schedule is agreed with us in writing when you book. Once the sensor is in place and the waves start, times land in the Leaderboard as athletes cross.
