Add a runner manually (at the desk, on race day)
Updated October 2026
Not every registration goes through the online flow. A runner showing up at bib pickup, a team added on race day, a one-off case to sort out. From the Athletes tab in your space, you create a full registration by hand. It is the bridge between online sign-ups and the course.
When to use it
Manual creation covers the cases the online flow cannot handle on its own.
- A runner or team signing up on site, at the desk, on race day.
- A registration settled off-platform that you want to show in your list.
- A one-off case to add quickly without going back through online payment.
The main contact
You start by entering the email of the registration's main contact, the runner themselves or the team delegate. We check live whether the account exists.
- The account exists. The registration is linked to that contact.
- The account does not exist. We create it automatically and send a login email to the runner. They can find their registration in the app without doing anything again.
Filling in the registration and the category
You then fill in each participant, identity, goodies and sizes, club. Then you pick the category. The team format (individual, duo, team, mixed) follows the chosen category, just like in the online flow.
If you split your race into several categories, take a look at creating your first race to set them up beforehand.
Bib and managing afterwards
You can assign a bib to the registration when you create it or later. From each runner's panel, you stay in control.
- Edit identity, goodies or club.
- Move the registration to another category.
- Delete the registration. A warning reminds you about the refund case.
A manual registration shows up in the same list as online sign-ups, with the live count and Excel export. Your whole entry list stays in one place for what comes next, check-in, wave generation and the leaderboard.
